The Ostar Education Online Classroom is mainly for remote teaching to help parents that are busy or who cannot transport their children. Currently, this program is offered for students from grade 5 to grade 11. Students in this program can learn in an interactive live classroom in small groups or in 1 to 1 VIP sessions.

Unlike traditional asynchronous video-viewing online teaching, Ostar Education Online Classroom uses the newest technology with synchronized real-time interactive instruction. It also uses video conference and synchronous whiteboard technology that allows teachers to see student expression and movement. This program also allows students to ask questions, discuss problems, write on the blackboard, and allows two-way communication between the teacher and students through out the class.

In addition to solving the problem of space-time, the online classroom also has powerful learning management functions, such as

• Document management, teachers can upload course-ware, website links or videos;
• Assignment management, allowing online submission, annotation, review, and grading of assignments by both the teacher and student
• Classroom recordings, allowing for convenient review after class for students
• Historical results query, teachers and parents can always check their children’s previous homework or testing results, and can go back to specific assignments to see what was wrong

Students with offline courses can upload their school assignments so that teachers can provide comments and feedback using the Ostar system. If parents cannot transport their children, they can also be enrolled into online classes.
